Collaborative Provision

Students undertaking collaborative provision programmes have access to a full range of University of Birmingham library resources and services

Getting Started

To access Library Services, you need:

  • A University Identity card (UID); for most programmes you are sent a paper form to fill in to request this.
  • A University username and password (sometimes called your adf). This may be sent to you with your UID card, or you can contact  the IT helpdesk (based in the Main Library, zone GD), if you do not know this.

Electronic Resources

eLibrary. Access to thousands of ejournals and other electronic resources.

  • To login use your University username and password (adf).

  • If you are accessing these resources from off-campus you may need to use the proxy server.

Borrowing

You can use any of the University’s 10 libraries. Access is with your UID card. You can borrow books, and make use of all of the library facilities.
